Abstract The market of electric and hybrid vehicles (EVs HEVs) is expanding exponentially in recent years. It serves as a greener solution the transportation sector compared to internal combustion engine vehicles’ (ICEVs). Conventional lubricants used for ICEVs are not suitable EVs HEVs latter operates on motors instead engines. Performance characteristics such electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity copper compatibility considered by lubricant but important HEVs. In this research, computer-aided molecular design technique that compatible with properties specific heat capacity, viscosity, density, flash point. Group contribution (GC) property prediction model utilized ensure desired possessed generated lubricant. There six possible solutions being discussed.
